The John August Swanson poster of Cast Your Nets is from a painting he did inspired by the story from Luke 9 when Jesus guided Simon and the fisherman to cast their nets onto the other side of the boat. To their amazement, they then pulled in a truly miraculous catch of fish. The colorful image, vibrant composition and strong message make this one of John Swanson's favorite images. It's visual testament to Jesus' call to his disciples to become "fishers of men."
